New Political Celebration
For as long as I can keep in mind, the Democrats were usually the celebration from the blue collar working class as well as the Republicans had been always the occasion with a white collar pro-business stance. The Democratic platform has traditionally been concerned with social welfare, labor unions, civil rights, and regulation of business enterprise. Whilst the Republican platform has been defined by a strong military, opposition to huge government, business enterprise deregulation, anti-abortion, and supportive of tax cuts. But it appears that with the coming of every single new election season there may be far more at stake for all Americans. There may be a lot more on the line as voters and politicians alike seem to be chasing the very same buck. Every election is much more about who gets a bigger slice of the pie than the greater very good of this free society as a whole. The lines are blurry between who and what is a democrat or a republican. During election season political candidates go to wonderful lengths to differentiate by themselves and definitely attempt to stand out in a crowded playing field.
Every election season you may rest assured you’ll hear all of the similar old political slogans and cliches being throw about by candidates like; “He’ll give America back towards the men and women,” and “She’ll struggle for you.” But after years of hearing these catchy phrases around and in excess of again one must ask, where are they taking us and who are they looking out for? Each and every election-day voters come across on their own faced with the choice of selecting, “the lesser of evils” or asking on their own if they need to even vote at all. But are elected officials capable of truly enhancing our lives in light of all of the international and domestic challenges faced by a Congress that make it possible for on their own to become swayed by the tremendous number of special interest groups that line the avenues of Washington? Do we as people have any control around what goes on in Washington? Does it truly matter how a lot of letters we may perhaps write to Congress, or how many political rallies we attend? Once we vote on election-day are we carried out with our capability to affect the U.S. political process until the next election-day? Having raised all these cynical questions, I’ve decided to begin a new political social gathering within the United States. I call it the “Party of Every Man for Him.’ To be involved within this grassroots organization you must be mindful of a few fundamental tenens that really should enable you to not just survive but to hopefully pursue the ideals of your American dream as you perceive it.
1. Educate yourself- The power of a formal education on this country cannot be overstated. Arm yourself with knowledge and embrace it like a military bulwark.
2. Save your pennies- Setbacks are abound to any person and everyone in this pursuit of the American dream. A personnel emergency fund is mandatory if and whenever you fall behind even should you only encounter a temporary setback.
3. Combat – Wake up just about every day prepared for a heavyweight fight. Expect a every day battle for what is yours and for what you think in. Your ideals, your work ethic, your protectionism of family.
Perhaps you currently belong to this party or you already believe in this way of thinking. Possibly you can add several tenets of your own to this brief declaration. But the point is that blind faith in the two social gathering process isn’t sufficient. Self determination is the most effective path to empowerment in achieving the kinds of individual freedoms we all envision for ourselves. Whether or not you want to join my political get together or not, maybe in some way we all belong to the exact same political social gathering, “The Social gathering of Each Man for Himself.”
